Elevate your engine's performance with our ‘Stage 1’ Camshaft. Meticulously crafted in-house, we design and develop the lobes with a delicate balance of performance and stability in mind. Rigorous spintron and dyno testing validate its superior performance and durability, making it the choice for enthusiasts seeking a noticeable upgrade.
The ‘Stage 1’ grind is a popular choice for those looking to delete MDS or add some pep to their 5.7 HEMI's step. With significant power gains and near OEM driving characteristics, this camshaft works well with stock converters.
480+ HP at the crank of your 5.7L Hemi is what you can expect with our ‘Stage 1’ camshaft. This ‘Stage 1’ grind provides an additional 1000 RPM of usable operating range while maintaining drivability. On the BTR Dyno, we observed gains over the factory cam everywhere above the 2000 RPM start point. At 6000 RPM, there was a gain of 65 HP and 58 lb/ft. The ‘Stage 1’ continues to pull strong to 6500 RPM!

NOTE: The use of a BTR aftermarket spring kit is required due to high valve lift and increased rpm potential in combination with the heavy OEM valves. We also recommend the use of hardened pushrods in power adder applications.
NOTE: To take advantage of this grind, it is imperative to utilize VVT control and engine tuning. A proper calibration with attention to detail in this respect will make this camshaft SHINE! *See Cam Card for recommended Holley VVT Target Table.*
NOTE: The ‘Stage 1’ Camshaft requires the use of a VVT ‘Limiter’ (BTR-VVT-HEMI-8CAM) to be installed in your cam phaser. This is included in the camshaft box; no need to purchase. However, if you do not already have the required installation tool (BTR-VVT-Hemi-Tool), you will need to purchase the tool separately.
The dyno test below was conducted on a stock Eagle 2009+ 5.7 with a truck intake, valve spring upgrade, E85, and long-tube headers. Stock cam VS. our ‘Stage 1’ cam.
