Made from 4340 steel deep nitrided for strength and wear resistance, every Gen III Hemi Compstar crank is intended for high-output installations. Compstar Hemi crankshafts are counterweighted to improve bearing load distribution, allowing them to withstand both high boost and high-RPM applications.
Machined with large journal radii, gun-drilled mains, and fully lightened rod journals, the Compstar crankshaft is truly built for performance.
