BTR and Wiseco have formed a partnership to bring an affordable, drop in piston to market for the LT1/L86 6.2 GEN V LT engine. Constructed out of 2618 forged aluminum material. Included in the set are .927" O.D. / S718 .200" wall piston pins and spiral locks. The compression height is 1.3040" and clearance 0.00450"
These pistons come with a Wiseco GFX .002" oversize 1.2 mm/1.2mm/3.0mm package. These include a Steel nitrated top and Ductile iron tapered underhook Napier second ring pack, designed to be file fit to let the end user dial in their specific ring gap . The piston skirts are moly coated for better lubricity during break in and quiet trouble free operation.
Must use BTR 4340 forged 6.125 connecting rods to achieve the proper balance/bobweight!
